listed in the Guide to America's Top Obstetricians and Gynecologists for
2005 and 2006.
Dr. Gorens is an instructor in Clinical Obstetrics
& Gynecology at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago.
She is an associate attending at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and
Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center.
Dr. Gorens earned her medical doctorate from
Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine in Chicago in 1980 after completing
her undergraduate education at the University of Illinois in Champaign,
IL. She did her Obstetrics & Gynecology internship and residency at
the University of Wisconsin Medical School/Mount Sinai Medical Center in
Milwaukee, WI.
Since then, Dr. Gorens has remained proactive in
continuing medical education, training in a variety of procedures and
technologies including cosmetic laser, microdermabrasion, chemical
peels, BOTOX™, dermal fillers, and mesotherapy. Dr. Gorens also
specializes in anti-aging treatments. She has been trained on the
Harmony laser and light-based system, Cynosure laser and light-based
technology, and Candela laser systems.
